ASHEVILLE, N.C. (PRWEB) February 28, 2018 -- Tapestry Eating Disorder Treatment Centers of Western North Carolina announces the opening of its new partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program, offering eating disorder treatment to both female and male adults.
“We are responding to the need for adult eating disorder treatment in the Asheville area,” Executive Director Tina Nowak said. “Partial hospitalization and day treatment allow our clients to get the help they need, with less disruption of daily life. It is exciting to expand and have the opportunity to help more in the area who desperately need treatment."
Nowak explained that, while eating disorders are the primary focus of this program, Tapestry will also treat clients with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues.
The open house on March 1 will celebrate the launch of this program with a ribbon cutting by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce at 11:30 a.m. The event will also offer refreshments, a prize drawing and tours of the facility, located at 119 Tunnel Road, Suite G, in Asheville, North Carolina.
Along with their new adult program in Asheville, Tapestry offers residential and day programming for adults in Brevard and will soon provide premier eating disorder treatment for adolescents in Fletcher.
Tapestry believes recovery from an eating disorder is a right and not a privilege. The Tapestry mission is to empower adults and adolescents to live fuller lives. Tapestry provides an ongoing continuum of care, from residential treatment to partial hospitalization day and intensive outpatient programs and aftercare. They partner with clients and support them through their recovery and transformation.
