Target’s Josh Dolan Named Honorary Chairman for Connections 2015
Peachtree City, Ga. (PRWEB) April 15, 2015 -- Josh Dolan, Target’s senior director of international transportation, has been designated the honorary chairman of SMC³’s Connections 2015 conference, to be held June 21-24 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
With the motto of collaborative supply chain intelligence, Connections 2015 provides shippers, carriers and other industry stakeholders with a 360-degree perspective on what’s driving the supply chain forward. Early bird registration for the conference ends May 5. To register, visit http://www.smc3connections.com. For the latest conference updates, follow SMC³ on Twitter (@SMC3_Inc) and on Facebook.
Dolan was selected by SMC³ and the Education Advisory Committee from a broad field of supply chain professionals. As honorary chairman, he will serve as goodwill ambassador for the event, providing strategic input for content and planning. In addition to his chairman duties, Dolan will host a special general session to share his view of the supply chain from inside one of transportation’s most prolific shipper organizations; he will also participate in a panel on maintaining cargo fluidity, which will explore lessons learned from the protracted West Coast port labor negotiations.
“Working with SMC³ as a customer and as a member of the SMC³ Education Advisory Committee has afforded me the opportunity to witness first-hand their drive to educate the supply chain,” Dolan said. “I am honored to serve as the honorary chair for Connections 2015, where we’ll celebrate with SMC³ on their 80th anniversary as an organization. As we salute SMC³ for their contributions to LTL transportation growth, I invite my colleagues from across the supply chain to share in the experience of Connections 2015.”
Additional thought leaders headlining Connections 2015 include:
Rob Estes, president and CEO of Estes Express Lines
Tom Jensen, vice president of UPS
Noel Hacegaba, chief commercial officer for the Port of Long Beach
Tom McLeod, president of McLeod Software
Bobby Harris, president and COO of BlueGrace Logistics
Tony Allison, vice president of the west coast for Averitt Express
These thought-leaders will be discussing everything from current and future regulatory challenges in the LTL industry to the thawing of the frozen trade relationship between the U.S. and Cuba. Connections 2015 will feature more than 20 hours of quality content and 15 hours of dedicated networking opportunities.
