Taste of Randolph Festival Partners with Nomwell App to Turn Weekend Visitors into Long-term Restaurant Patrons
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- The Taste of Randolph, a leading annual Chicago celebration named Chicago Magazine’s #1 summer festival, is partnering with Nomwell, a mobile app for organizing and sharing one’s favorite restaurants. Nomwell is offering festival-goers a simple way to remember participating restaurants and where to find their brick-and-mortar shops for the same great food after the festival. Addressing the potential problem of thousands of visitors trying and loving the festival's food but forgetting the restaurants' names and permanent locations, Nomwell's free, mapped list of restaurants ensures that these West Loop favorites will be remembered and frequented later.
The Taste of Randolph’s restaurant list, which can be viewed on any browser at http://bit.ly/tors-nomwell, includes the twenty featured restaurants and commentary on each from its chef and the festival’s organizer, the West Loop Community Organization. Users of Nomwell can then save the list to the app, where they can map the restaurants, add select spots to their to-do lists, and keep track of which restaurants they tried during the festival (and how much they liked them).
"We believe Nomwell will be a great solution for participating restaurants as well as attendees. Restaurants are able to promote not only their food, but drive repeat business at their physical locations in the West Loop. Festival-goers are also able to track and share their favorites from the event," says Carla Agostinelli, Director of the West Loop Community Organization.
"We're excited to partner with the West Loop Community Organization on the Taste of Randolph," says Ryan Mattison, CEO of Nomwell. "One of Nomwell's best features is the ability to make and share lists of restaurants. Taste of Randolph is a perfect application of this, offering festival visitors a downloadable list that they can reference long after the festival ends. Many visitors would otherwise try committing the restaurants to memory, only to have those names slip away later. With the list saved in Nomwell, visitors not only will remember these places, but can map, rate, share, and check them off."
