tastecard launches App and brand new digital card
(PRWEB UK) 1 November 2013 -- tastecard, the UK’s largest diners’ club, have launched their brand new mobile App for iPhone and Android.
The App will feature a digital card, so that members can leave the plastic at home and save money with their mobile or tablet.
Members will use the App to search for their nearest restaurants, with the option to search by cuisine and user rating. After choosing their destination for the evening it’s time to make a booking, mentioning tastecard, either on the App’s live booking system or by calling the restaurant. Then it’s just a case of presenting the digital card at the restaurant to see savings of 50% off the total food bill or 2 for 1 meals.
The tastecard App offers you the chance to log your savings every time you dine out and watch your digital ‘savings wallet’ grow throughout the year, or share with your friends and the tastecard community via social media.
tastecard’s founding Director, Matt Turner, welcomed the launch of the App, stating: “We wanted to create an all-encompassing digital solution for our tastecard members. The App now allows them to not only search for and book their chosen restaurant, but read and add reviews, use their membership card directly from the App and record their savings. The user experience is slick and the feedback that we have received to date from both members and restaurants has been hugely positive.”
