TCEB and Thai Airways International Have Jointly Embarked On the First Ever Competition “Thailand Mice Destination Review Competition”
Bangkok (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- TCEB and Thai Airways International have jointly embarked on the first ever competition for the MICE industry entitled: Thailand MICE Destination Review Competition, which aims to showcase the capability and readiness of 5 unique MICE cities in Thailand.
Sarita Chintakanond Director, Information Technology TCEB said, “Over the past two months we received almost 100 profile submissions from 20 countries; based on TCEB’s judging criteria, that is, working/blogging experience plus knowledge about the MICE industry, the following 5 lucky finalists will have the chance to discover Thailand’s MICE cities: Mr. Robert Schrader from United States, Ms. Stephanie Selesnick from United States, Mr. Nguyen Hoang from Vietnam, Ms. Siow Ying Lee from Singapore, and Ms. Victoria Philpott from the United Kingdom.
During January 19 – February 25, 2014, the finalists have inspected and reviewed all venues and meeting facilities in our 5 MICE Cities: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, and Khon Kaen. They were all very pleasantly surprised and impressed with their observations.
After this trip they will have five weeks to promote and share their experiences through blogs and other social media to win. “The most inspiring blog” with the highest views will get a cash award of 5,000 USD and “The blog with the best content” will get a cash award of 3,000 USD,” concluded Director Sarita.
