TCS Healthcare Technologies Names Jeff Frater Director of Partner Development

A former president of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA), Frater will lead and implement strategies that foster and enhance TCS business partnerships. He previously served as a client-facing account manager for MCG, formerly Milliman Care Guidelines.
“I believe my role at CMSA, combined with my background working with health plans, Medicare and Medicaid and hospitals, has prepped me with the skills to relate naturally to TCS clients and suggest the right solutions for their organization,” Frater says. “There’s a certain credibility that comes from being able to say, ‘I’ve walked a mile in your shoes.’”
Frater says he has been studying the health care delivery system and its financial nuances since 1994, trying to figure out how it can be done better. “To me, finding the perfect nexus of a competent and empathetic provider, a satisfied patient and a cost- effective and efficient delivery system is bliss,” he says.
