Tea Party Candidate Proposes Tuition-Free College as a Giant Cost Saving Measure

Lynch proposes year round school combined with longer school days to double the number of class hours per year, enabling children to continue living at home while completing a college BS degree in useful subjects by age 17 for free.
Long school days will help working mothers who will no longer go crazy finding and paying for safe places for their kids between when Mom has to be at work and school starts, for after school used to close and Mom gets off work, for summer vacations and those endless holidays. Crime will go down because gangs can no longer get to unsupervised kids on the mean streets, and most criminals are school dropouts.
Lynch would restore truant officers who would scoop up every child absent from school so that there are no dropouts and every child gets educated and is able to support themselves by age 17. Students who want to study additional subjects could do so after age 17, which is when kids went off to obsolete colleges.
Lynch calls his useful college ‘supercharged’ because there will be more than double the class hours so every child, even the most disadvantaged, will benefit from more instruction and content than kids get now.
By eliminating traditional residential colleges and separating teaching from research, Lynch estimates we can highly educate every child for half of what we now spend to badly educate only a few of our children.
In a few years the flood of four million new17 year old scientists and engineers every year will attract high tech, high pay investment from all over the world, feeding the greatest boom in our history. Welfare will go down as more jobs create higher income.
Lynch says this is a Tea Party issue because it is the greatest cost cutting measure ever proposed, combined with the greatest, most broadly distributed benefits, both economic and moral, of any government program in our history.
