Team Continues to Expand at Oklahoma State Bank
Norman, Oklahoma (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- Oklahoma State Bank announced the hiring of Mike Murphy as Executive Vice President and Cashier. He will provide expert knowledge to the Bank as it continues its growth and success. He will also continue his service to the Norman community.
Murphy joins Oklahoma State Bank after gaining nineteen years of experience as the Executive Vice President/CFO at First American Bank. He formed and operated his own consulting practice a short time before starting at OSB in mid-June. Murphy began his banking career nearly 26 years ago as a financial institution examiner for the FDIC.
“Our team is growing rapidly at Oklahoma State Bank and we couldn’t be more proud!” said Steve McDaniel, OSB President. “We are pleased to grow our team with qualified, passionate, and knowledgeable people. Mike exemplifies all of these.”
Murphy serves on the Boards for Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity and the United Way of Norman. Murphy will also serve as adjunct instructor at Moore Norman Technology Center this fall. His commitment to the Norman Chamber of Commerce and other non-profit organizations reflects his continued dedication to our community.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of a Bank with a strong legacy and vision for growth. There are many great bankers at Oklahoma State Bank and I look forward to continue to serve Norman and all of our communities,” said Murphy.
