Technology Innovators to Gather at Inmar for CloudCamp’s December Event

Winston-Salem, NC (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- Inmar today announced that it will serve as host for CloudCamp on December 5. CloudCamp is an informal, member-supported gathering where technology professionals exchange ideas, knowledge and information in a creative and supporting environment to advance the state of cloud computing and related technologies. The gathering will take place at Inmar’s corporate headquarters, 2650 Pilgrim Court, Winston-Salem, from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker will be Michael Sylvia, Director, Advanced Technologies, Office of the CIO, IBM. Sylvia, who is responsible for IBM’s internal technical cloud strategy and the application of cloud computing, will present "Cloud Computing: Enabling Transformation @ IBM." In this talk, Sylvia will describe the IBM CIO experience with cloud computing, present lessons learned (including the importance of choosing the right workloads for cloud). He also will speak to what the future holds – not only for IBM’s use of cloud computing, but also for the cloud in general.
