The 5th Annual Techweek Chicago, presented by T-Mobile, will continue through June 28. Techweek Chicago is the largest technology conference in the Midwest, dedicated to bringing together entrepreneurs, visionaries, influencers and thought leaders under a single 7-day “big tent” of remarkable collaboration and engagement. The Techweek Chicago 2015 conference and expo will run from June 25-26, closing out an exciting week of spotlighting the local ecosystem.

- High-Profile Speakers: Techweek Chicago will showcase influential leaders and influencers in technology across nine tracks focusing on trends, innovation, growth, action and change within the greater tech industry. - Workshops: Techweek Chicago will also feature several “how-to” workshops, including one co-hosted by T-Mobile and DMI (Digital Management Inc.) that will teach best practices for managing data security across multiple devices, mobile applications and technology mediums accessing a company’s corporate network. IBM will present another workshop focused on the cloud and unlocking value in the technology assets businesses already use, using tools that allow companies to work in new, faster, more impactful ways,
- Launch Championship: This is the battle royale of pitch competitions. Top startups from around the country – and the world – compete to be crowned Techweek’s Launch Grand Champion. The Launch Championship is Techweek’s top attraction and offers a chance for Techweek attendees to see which companies will soon be changing the world and to meet their founders and investors. Pre-qualified startups will compete for cash and sponsor-donated gifts valued at $50,000 on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26. Starting with 80-100 participating startups, judges will narrow down semifinalists in two preliminary rounds, and the 5 finalists will pitch their businesses to a panel of top tech and business leaders who will decide the winner. The winning startup will then move on for a chance to win an investment of between $50,000 and $250,000 in the Launch Championship at Techweek Miami. T-Mobile is also supporting the Launch Competition.
- Hiring Fair: For those searching for a new, exciting role or looking to bring an idea to fruition, the Hiring Fair is all about matching talented people with the right jobs. The Hiring Fair, presented by Raise, attracts more than 50 top businesses like Raise, Gogo and Accenture. Access to the Hiring Fair is complimentary, but registration is required. Techweek Chicago will host the tech Hiring Fair from noon-5pm on Friday, June 26.
- Hackathon: The Hackathon is a day of development fueled by participants’ passions for business, innovation and technology. Techweek Chicago’s Hackathon, presented by Cars.com, ChallengePost, Corvisa, WeWork, Zebra Technologies, Raise, Time Out Chicago, Time Out Chicago, Insurance Auto Auctions, and .CO, will feature more than 50 developers, designers and entrepreneurs looking to create the next best web or mobile app. The event starts on Saturday, June 20 at 12pm and concludes on Sunday, June 21 at 12pm. Creations will be judged by a team of five leaders from Chicago’s tech community.
