Techzilla Adds the Nexus 4 to their Buyback Program
Margate, FL (PRWEB) July 08, 2013 -- Thanks to the growing number of buyback programs in the market, it’s easier than ever before to trade-in or sell used cell phones and upgrade to the latest in smartphone technology. To cater to the growing demand for smart devices, Techzilla, a one-stop shop for all things tech, has included the LG Nexus 4 into its new buyback program.
The Nexus 4 is Google’s fourth Android smartphone in the Google Nexus phone series. Nexus phones are produced by Google in partnership with an independent phone manufacturer and are the first Android devices in the market to receive Google updates to their operating systems. The first Nexus in the smartphone series, the Nexus One, was manufactured by HTC One back in 2010. It was followed up by the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S, both manufactured through a subsequent partnership with Samsung.
The Nexus 4 is produced by Korean tech conglomerate LG with Google and made its debut in late 2012. As of February 2013, the 4 has sold over 1 million units. It’s the first Android device to operate on 4.2 Jellybean, the newest upgrade to the Android operating system, and it’s running on Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The 4 has received generally positive reviews due to its affordability for what it offers and constantly updating software features. Key hardware features have been its large 4.7-inch display, 8-megapixel rear camera, and attractive tiled glass back.
For over a month now, Techzilla has been allowing users to sell LG phones on their platform in order to enhance its services and increase its competitive edge in the buyback market. When their Buyback program first opened in April, it originally focused on reselling Apple products, including iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad gadgets. With the Nexus 4 and other LG phone models now on their platform, users are able to sell used phones of varying manufacturers other than Apple.
Aside from the Nexus 4, Techzilla’s Buyback has also added other non-Apple smart phones from popular cell phone giants including Motorola, HTC, Blackberry, and Samsung, which can be viewed on their website. Techzilla has plans to open their first hands-on retail hotspot in Ft. Lauderdale sometime this summer. All the buyback services consumers have access to online will soon be attainable in person, giving consumers who are selling used cell phones more options in the buyback market.
