TelePacific Snags Another Top Telecom Executive
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- TelePacific Communications continues to attract top telecom executives as it aggressively expands its business across Texas. During the past year, the company has opened new offices in Richardson, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and Houston that reflect the tremendous demand for TelePacific’s communications solutions from the small, medium and enterprise (SME) businesses that are the company’s sole focus.
The latest high profile addition to the TelePacific leadership team in Texas is Mike Karageorge, who brings more than twenty years of executive experience to his new role taking the reins of South Texas sales for the Company.
“This is really a homecoming of sorts for me, since I’ve lived in San Antonio for two separate stretches during my career and it’s a community I know very well,” Karageorge says. “I feel fortunate, on a personal level, to have the chance to raise my kids here and I am also tremendously excited professionally. TelePacific brings the combination of a bred-in-the-bone commitment to caring for customers and extraordinary technical solutions that can be customized for the needs of South Texas businesses. There’s the excitement and energy of a relatively new company here in Texas, but it’s supported by the resource and confidence of an industry leader.”
Karageorge knows Texas and telecom intimately, having held executive positions in Sprint and Globalstar where he was responsible for sales and field operations for South Texas and larger geographical territories. He also has a first-hand understanding of the concerns and challenges small, medium and enterprise (SME) owners have when they need to find the communications solutions that are right for their businesses.
“I ran my own consulting firm for more than six years and I was the person who wrote the checks, made all of the decisions about services we needed and talked with my customers whenever there was a hiccup. SME decision makers have a tremendous amount on their plate every day and I was really taken with TelePacific’s focus on providing simpler, customized solutions that let business owners concentrate on building sales instead of managing networks.”
TelePacific is investing in both people and real estate as it focuses on weaving itself deep into the Texas business community. Recent new office expansions in Corpus Christi, Richardson and Fort Worth are being coupled with significant new hires. The Company sees a great opportunity to grow alongside Texas businesses as they increasingly turn to communications solutions that for voice, data and Internet communications centered on the three “C”s of Connect, Cloud and Continuity.
“Telecom is complicated but doing business with us isn’t,” says Brad Mitchell, President of TelePacific Texas. “We deliver one point of contact, one bill and one provider answers that take the load off of SMEs. We’re built around the small company service ethic we started with 15 years ago, even though we now do more than $600 million in business. TelePacific is expanding in South Texas and we’re bringing in the best – people who know their communities, customers and needs. Mike exemplifies that service mind-set and we’re very fortunate to have him join the TelePacific team.”
