Telhio Credit Union Hosts Feed the Dream Food Drive on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) January 15, 2015 -- Telhio Credit Union, to honor the legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is hosting the first-ever Feed the Dream food drive in Franklin County, a coordinated effort to help feed families in need in the community. The goal of the drive is to collect one ton of food in one day.
“Finding ways to support our community is a priority at Telhio, and the Feed the Dream Food Drive is a perfect example of a way community members and businesses can help those in need,” said Karen Daniels, Senior VP of Member Services. “Telhio is proud to help honor the legacy of Dr. King by expanding this effort to Franklin County.”
The food drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 19. Donations of non-perishable food items or cash can be dropped off at the Telhio Grove City branch at 4236 Buckeye Parkway. Telhio will be donating all contributions to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio and Mid-Ohio FoodBank. More information is available at http://www.telhio.org.
