Tempo Soccer Club Announces New Soccer Complex to Open in Tea, SD
Tea, SD (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- Tempo Soccer Club, one of South Dakota’s premier youth soccer programs, is proud to announce the purchase of over 20 acres of land for a brand new soccer complex. Located in Tea and serving the surrounding communities, the Tempo Soccer Complex will provide a friendly, yet competitive atmosphere where players can prepare for recreational, high school and college level soccer.
The new Tempo Soccer Complex will boast 22 outdoor fields. With a convenient location half a mile north of Tea on 469th Street, the complex is in a safe and open environment. There will also be a large parking lot, as well as a concession stand to make the complex just as enjoyable for spectators as it is sure to be for players.
The complex will have a variety of field sizes to accommodate for the different programs Tempo offers its 350 players and growing. Since beginning in 2011, Tempo has provided both academy and club level programs for youth players ranging from age 3 to 18. Tempo’s developmental league, for players from ages three to ten, focuses on expanding basic soccer skills. Tempo’s competitive team allows players eight and up to take their skills to a higher level, while still focusing on Tempo’s first mission of providing youth with a positive environment to nurture their passion and enjoyment for the game of soccer.
Riccardo Tarabelsi, Director of Coaching at the Tempo Soccer Club believes the new complex will be an invaluable resource for the program. “Having a soccer complex to call our home is priceless. This new home represents more opportunities for young soccer players in Tea and the surrounding communities. Our league, academy, and club programs will now have a permanent place to hone and develop the lifelong skills our players are being taught throughout the year,” Tarabelsi said. “I am looking forward to many more great things from Tempo Soccer Club, its teams, and its players.”
