Tenable Network Security Announces Federal Sales Division to Meet Increasing Demand for Next-Generation Cybersecurity Solutions
Columbia, Md. (PRWEB) February 23, 2016 -- Tenable Network Security®, Inc., the leader in continuous network monitoring®, today announced it is expanding its focus on the federal market and has hired Darron Makrokanis to lead a new sales division dedicated to meeting the unique cybersecurity needs of federal customers.

Makrokanis most recently served as senior business development executive and program manager for Splunk, overseeing strategic partnerships and alliances with federal systems integrators (FSIs). Prior to that, he worked at Booz Allen Hamilton where he managed business development efforts for various U.S. government organizations including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Defense (DoD). Earlier in his career, Makrokanis oversaw criminal investigations and special operations for two DC-metro area counties for 10 years and currently serves as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
