Terry Costa, DFW Fashion Landmark, Is Thrilled to Announce Their Teen Board Model Competition and Catwalk Competition, Held This Sunday, February 22nd
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 20, 2015 -- Terry Costa, DFW fashion landmark is thrilled to announce their Teen Board Model Competition and Catwalk Competition, held this Sunday, February 22nd, during their annual Terry Costa Teen Board Prom Fashion Show. This fabulous event, themed "Fashion Week," marks the first time the two competitions have been held in conjunction, offering maximum exposure to budding designers and models alike.
During the Fashion Show, models wearing the hottest looks for Prom 2015 will have the chance to rock the runway and be judged by three prominent members of the Dallas fashion, pageant, and design community, including Jan Strimple, fashion icon and founder of Jan Strimple Productions, Leigh Gettman-Allen, pageant pro, and Vance Scott, Mon Cheri design team member.
"Our Teen Board is one of the many ways we stay involved with our community," says Tina Loyd, Terry Costa's CEO and owner. "The entire production is completely sponsored by Terry Costa, Inc. The only requirement we ask of the participating designers and models is that they are present at all rehearsals. It's all about building confidence and feeling fabulous in your own skin."
This year's show boasts the highest turnout of designers and models--nearly 100 contestants in total.
"It's so exciting to watch everything come together," says Sergio Armas, Terry Costa's in-house designer. "Winning the competition two years ago changed my life and I can't wait to see the same happen for another lucky winner. There's a lot of talent in the show this year!"
After the show the model contestants' headshots and the design contestants' dresses and sketches will be displayed at Terry Costa's physical location and on Terry Costa's Facebook page for a popular vote. This score, along with judges' scores will determine this year's Model Competition and Catwalk Competition winner. Both winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Doors open at 7:15 on Sunday, February 22nd, at Terry Costa's landmark location at the southwest corner of Preston and 635. The show begins at 7:30pm.
