Texas Fertility Center San Antonio Welcomes Erika Munch, MD
San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) July 12, 2016 -- Texas Fertility Center San Antonio announces a new partner in providing advanced fertility care to patients in South and Central Texas. Erika Munch, M.D., joins the TFC-SA practice on August 1st, where she will specialize in all aspects of infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss - including IVF, genetic screening and elective single embryo transfer.
Dr. Munch joins the established San Antonio fertility center with well-rounded background and extensive training in reproductive medicine. The Texas native received her bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University, her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and a certificate from the University of Texas School of Public Health.
After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Munch completed a fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. As a result of successfully passing her written and oral board exams, she is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and she has completed an ABOG fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr. Munch is interested in “promoting healthy pregnancies and healthy lifestyle choices and treatment decisions.” Additionally, she is proficient in performing minimally invasive reproductive surgery with fertility being the ultimate goal. She has published research concerning embryonic qualities that promote implantation and healthy singleton pregnancies.
According to Dr. Munch, “I am happy to return to my home state to provide great care to the families of South Texas.” The San Antonio fertility center team is equally happy to have her join them in this endeavor.
