Texas Renaissance Festival releases TRF After Dark 2016 entertainment lineup
HOUSTON (PRWEB) September 23, 2016 -- TRF After Dark, the Texas Renaissance Festival’s after-hours party for patrons ages 21 and up, is proud to announce its lineup of entertainers and weekly themes for the 2016 season. Every Saturday evening throughout the Texas Renaissance Festival’s 42nd season, from October 8 – November 26, TRF After Dark will host a unique, themed experience starting at 8 p.m.

The 2016 After Dark entertainment lineup is full of brilliant entertainers and we can’t wait for our guests to come enjoy these performances each weekend!”
This year’s themes and entertainers include:
October 8: The Grande Masquerade- Cocktail attire, masks or full masquerade costumes required for the opening masquerade ball.
Entertainment:
- Cirque la Vie - Contemporary circus troupe who perform thrilling acts of aerial artistry.
- Stary Olsa - Band of musicians from Belarus who mix old and new, playing modern rock-n-roll on medieval instruments.
October 15: Cirque Fantastique- A night under the big top complete with a magician-juggler and aerial artistry.

- Kirk Marsh - Funny-man, magician and juggler who has performed on Late Night with David Letterman, at Walt Disney World, Nickelodeon and more.
October 22: Lucky Devil- Dice, card games, roulette and more will be added when TRF After Dark is transformed into a casino for the night.

October 29: Rocky Horror Picture Show – TRF After Dark presents the ultimate Rocky Horror experience.

November 5: A Night of Burlesque – A variety show with entertaining dancers.

November 12: Heroes, Villains and Vixens- Guests can dress any character from any time or any place for an evening of cosplay.

- Special Head – Astounding levitation, comedy, hip hop, glitch, folktronica, dubstep performer who was featured on, “America’s Got Talent.”
November 19: The Funky Formal- A chance for guests to break out their old prom dresses and formal wear for a groovy night at TRF After Dark.

- The Harp Twins – Harpists who perform mashups of rock, pop and more on their acoustic and electric harps.
November 26: Naughty is Nice Ball- A holiday-themed TRF After Dark celebration for the close of the season.

In addition to live entertainment, TRF After Dark offers a cash bar (with free, non-alcoholic drinks for designated drivers), hors d’oeuvres buffet, hookah and hand-rolled cigar lounge, along with plenty of VIP upgrades. VIP suites, which hold up to 10 people, can be reserved in advance by e-mailing [email protected]. Guests staying at the Fields of New Market Campgrounds can take a shuttle over to TRF After Dark to enjoy a late night of merriment without having to drive.
Tickets for each weekend start at $20 per person, and are available on the TRF After Dark Website along with more information on entertainment and theme nights.
The Texas Renaissance Festival is the nation’s largest and most acclaimed Renaissance themed event. Established in 1974, the event attracts over half a million visitors each year to its 55-acre New Market Village and Fields of New Market Campgrounds in Todd Mission, Texas.
