Texas School Districts Award Let's Go Learn "Approved Provider Status" for Its Blended Learning Solutions
Kensington, CA (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 -- Let’s Go Learn announced today that it is an approved provider of instructional and assessment materials for Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District and for Region 5 ESC. Richard Capone, CEO and co-founder of Let’s Go Learn, said “We have worked with Texas educators and parents for over a decade, supporting students needs with our ed tech solutions. Our computer-adaptive diagnostic assessments and online prescriptive instruction engage students with game-like interactivity and academic success!”
Dr. Angelica Underwood, a national expert in reading, has managed the implementation of Let’s Go Learn’s diagnostic assessments and instruction in special education classrooms across 144 campuses. When asked why she uses Let’s Go Learn, she said, “Other vendors have assessments that show our students are below grade level but they don’t show why. Let’s Go Learn’s online diagnostics give educators and parents a detailed picture of student strengths and weaknesses.”
Dr. Underwood went on to elaborate: “All children can learn. Educators who don’t believe this are part of what I call a ‘poverty consciousness’ belief system. It is up to educators and parents to find a program that will help pinpoint a gap and find an intervention strategy that works.”
Let's Go Learn early on recognized the significant contribution that technology innovation can bring to the classroom. Mr. Capone and Dr. Rick McCallum started the company in 2000 to support personalized learning in the classroom. Mr. Capone summarized the company’s success, “It’s pretty simple. Teachers and parents love us because we help them personalize learning. Students love us because our game-based format drives them to optimal performance. And everybody loves that the more students use us, the more their math and reading skills and strategies improve.”
