Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is doubling down on its recent top five customer satisfaction rating among U.S. airports by expanding its partnership with Thanks Again®. Beginning this month, ICT Airport will be the first 'Smart Airport' in the Central U.S., with significant technology enhancements via the Thanks Again Smartphone App, which features data-driven proximity based messaging and engagement, creating a truly unique experience for travelers.

ICT Airport will be the only airport in the region providing passengers with Thanks Again's proximity based messaging, including geo-fenced messaging and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon triggered offers, while users travel through the airport. Geo-fenced messaging allows the airport to recognize when travelers arrive on airport property, and welcome them with customized communications such as retail offers and important airport information. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons improve in-store shopping experiences by enabling users to receive targeted offerings based on data generated from the loyalty program, such as demographics and prior spending characteristics, combined with current location and proximity to airport stores and restaurants. In addition, digital marketing within the app is also driven by the data collected, enabling Thanks Again to provide relevant ads, offers, and surveys to travelers. All results are reported on a real-time basis on the Thanks Again business intelligence dashboard.
