The 19th Annual 25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards Call for Nominations
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 27, 2016 -- The Network Journal, a quarterly print and online business magazine for Black professionals and business owners, is searching for 25 Influential Black Women in Business (25 IBWIB) to honor in 2017. The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 28th.

Launched in 1999, the 25 IBWIB Awards program highlights and honors the achievements of Black women executives and business owners who are at the forefront of American business leadership, whose professional achievements have significantly impacted an industry or profession. Winners symbolize the diversity and advancement that has occurred across industry lines.
Typical 25 IBWIB award recipients exude professionalism and have a track record of providing leadership and support to their community. She is an owner, partner, president, CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, Board Chair, senior- or management-level executive, or a woman entrusted with significant decision-making authority in a corporation, not-for-profit organization, or public office.
The Awards program is staged in the form of a luncheon in March each year, coinciding with Women’s History Month. Honorees are profiled in the SPRING edition of the print magazine, as well as online at TNJ.com. Videotaped interviews of honorees are placed on TNJ.com for a global audience.
