The 2nd Women in Technology Breakfast Briefing is brought to you by Montash
London (PRWEB UK) 22 February 2015 -- Following the success of the last Women in Technology Breakfast Briefing, Montash is proud to bring you their 2nd Women in Technology Breakfast Briefing which will be held on Friday 1st May at The Grand Connaught Rooms, Holborn, London.
The event will be an open discussion forum for top executives to discuss the lack of female CIOs and IT Leaders within the Technology industry. The panel will also cover what organisations are doing to see more women in the boardroom, and share their own experiences and challenges in attracting and retaining female technology talent.
The speaker panel consists of leading IT executives including: Monique Shivanandan – Global CIO at Aviva, Judi Edwards – Executive Partner at Gartner and Mike Bowden – Global CIO at Anglo American. The discussion will be chaired by Montash’s CEO Andy Larholt.
Andy Larholt commented, “After the success of our last Women In Technology event, we are proud to be hosting our 2nd WIT briefing. The last event was oversubscribed and we had some great feedback from the attendees. He also added “The panel will provide an insight into a topic that affects the industry on a large scale. It’s an ongoing issue for organisations which are trying to do more to encourage the employment of female IT leaders, but the question is, are they doing enough? This event should be insightful for our audience.”
Tickets cost £20 with all proceeds going to Groundwork London; a social and environmental urban regeneration charity supported by Montash. CIO UK Magazine will support the briefing as a media partner, with the Editor-in-chief attending the event and providing post-event coverage.
