The 9th Live Your Legacy Summit is Bigger Than Ever in 2015
Norcross, GA (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- On October 12th, 2015 from 8:00AM TO 4:00PM at the Hilton hotel in Norcross, GA, five outstanding women heroes will stand on the summit stage as “Legacy Award” Honorees for their outstanding services to non-profit organizations that focus on helping children and teens. Like philanthropist Jordan Foxworthy, many people may know her dad Jeff, who’s a super star in her own right. After a trip to Kibera, Jordan teamed up with Compassion International to develop the Bite Back Campaign, an initiative that raises money and awareness for malaria. Jordan has raised $500,000 for the cause and she encourages her peers to “bite back” against the bug that kills more African children than HIV/AIDS. This is just one of her many projects she does to help children around the world.
Since the first summit in 2011, 34 heroes have been awarded the prestigious “Legacy Award” and honorees have included Georgia Music Hall of fame, Jan Smith, founder of The Bridge Music Foundation, whose clients include Justin Bieber, Usher and Band Perry to name a few, also NFL super bowl champion Tyrone Keys, founder of All Sports Community and Scarlett Lewis, mother of 6 year old Jesse Lewis, who was killed in the Newtown Connecticut shootings, and then founded the Jesse Lewis Choose Love organization in his honor to spread more love in this world in his memory.
