The Alabama Auto Show: 500 vehicles, 15 Ride & Drive Opportunities, Racing Simulator, $25,000 Giveaway and More
Birmingham, Alabama (PRWEB) April 24, 2015 -- The 2015 Alabama Auto Show, a four-day event going from April 30 – May 3, will feature nearly 500 vehicles from 25 different brands. In addition to the premiere of the latest the automotive world has to offer, this year’s auto show will also include ride and drive opportunities for attendees, live media broadcasts from the event, a $25,000 giveaway and live band performances. Tickets for the Alabama Auto Show at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex are now on sale and can be purchased online through alabamaautoshow.com. “This year’s Auto Show will have something for everybody, from vehicles to live music to prizes,” explained Jennifer Whisenant. “And not only will attendees be able to get a first look at the automotive industry’s best vehicles, they will get to test drive some of them too,” Whisenant added.
Those who stop by the Ford Test Drive will receive free gifts for participating and be entered for the chance to win their very own 2015 F-150. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the aluminum body and lightweighting of the all-new 2015 F-150 during test drive hours.
In addition, the Drive by Chevrolet is offering the opportunity for consumers to ride and drive select vehicles, including the Camaro SS, Colorado Crew 4wd z71, Equinox, Impala, Malibu, Silverado Crew 4wd, Silverado HD 4wd Diesel and the new Tahoe. In the Toyota Drive Center, consumers can test drive a Camry, Corolla, Prius and RAV4. Each brand will have a registration booth in the lobby of the East Exhibition Hall. After attendees have gone through the Auto Show itself, they can register to test drive the vehicles of their choice.

• Barber Motor Sports highlighting a Lotus
• The Racing for Children’s Indy Porsche racecar
• Charter Media showing the CARS 2 movie on the big screen throughout the show
• JOX Roundtable broadcasting their show on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• A live broadcast of Birmingham Mountain Radio’s Will & Reed on Thursday evening
• Live band performances on Saturday
• A live broadcast from The Q on Saturday at 2 p.m. that will include a $25,000 giveaway toward the purchase of a new vehicle from one of the Birmingham Auto Dealers

The 2015 Alabama Auto Show will take place at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention center April 30 – May 3. Doors open for the event on Thursday, April 30 at 12 p.m. Tickets for adults are $12, $6 for children ages 6-11 and free for children under 6 years of age. The event will showcase 2015 model year domestic and import cars, light trucks, SUVs, and hybrid vehicles of all sizes.
