(PRWEB) November 05, 2014 -- The 2nd Annual PRISM Award is a celebration to honor organizations that have achieved a standard of excellence in the implementation of coaching programs for culture change, leadership development, productivity and performance improvement measured by ROE and ROI.
Lynne Griffith, Assistant Secretary, Washington State Ferries was the keynote speaker, delivering valuable insight to obtaining leadership endorsement and leveraging leader champions to create success and sustainability of coaching programs in organizations.
The four organizational coaching programs nominated for this year’s award were evaluated according to four International Coach Federation criteria: 1) fulfilling rigorous professional standards, 2) aligning with key strategic goals, 3) yielding measurable results, and 4) sustaining coaching programs within the organization over time.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s coaching program “Gear Up” is aligned with its mission, values and strategic goals. The Gear Up program is tailored to fulfill the goals of the organization as well as address the development needs of each participant.
The Foundation uses coaching with motivated and high potential leaders and key contributors who have the potential to be even more effective. The program began in 2009 and since then over 250 leaders and managers have received 1:1 coaching.
Susan Mann, Director of Learning & Development; Program Coordinator, accepted the 2014 PRISM Organization Award and as nominating coach, Kelly Holm, PCC and Executive Coach accepted the 2014 PRISM Coach Award.
