In any given month, The Volunteer Way assists 20,000 families that do not know when or where they will get their next meal. These are often hard-working adults, children and seniors who simply cannot make ends meet and are forced to go without food for several meals, or even days.

The collection box will be in the main lobby of The Bonati Spine Institute, where members of the community can drop off their collections of non-perishable items from November 12 -27 and December 2-22.

Items in demand include canned meats, vegetables and fruit, canned fish, peanut butter, jelly or jam, canned or instant soups, pasta, rice, hot and cold cereals, powdered or shelf milk, dry beans, baby formula, baby food or cereal, diapers and wipes.
