The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale is Encouraging Community to Make Charitable Contributions to Support Youth Programs
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) December 21, 2015 -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is seeking community help from those wanting to make a last minute charitable contribution in 2015 by encouraging them to choose the club as recipient.
December 31st is the deadline for this type of charitable contribution to receive credit on 2015 tax returns. One of the biggest misconceptions is that donations can only be made to schools or charities and not both is simply not the case. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale asks tax payers to choose them for their charitable donation. Money that is donated is used to help fund food drives, dental screenings, holiday shopping for those in need and even summer camp tuition. Tax payers can breathe a sigh of relief that their money will stay in the community and benefit the future generation.
“Not only will this money make a difference in a child’s life, it can help the tax payers themselves,” says E.J. Hughes with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. “Tax payers can feel good about their charitable donation which helps local children in their community.
