The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale Is Taking Part in “Arizona Gives Back” Day
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 -- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is encouraging supporters to donate on “Arizona Gives Back” Day on April 5th.
The annual event is a state-wide event where Arizonans can “give back” to the nonprofit of their choice, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. The goal of the event is to connect causes with supporters in order to help empower Arizona nonprofits as a whole.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale helps more than 18-thousand area youth reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. Their branch locations provide the youth in each area they serve with a safe place where they come in contact with a caring adult mentor, other peers their age and high-impact youth programs that can be critical during non-school hours. The Clubs are located within the Greater Scottsdale area including Phoenix, Fountain Hills and Mesa. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale strive to promote academic success, positive character and citizenship and healthy lifestyles.
On April 5th, people can log on to the “Arizona Gives Back” site and donate to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale and know their charitable donation is going directly to the group they are wanting to support.
This is not the only opportunity for Arizonans to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale. Through the “Angels For Kids” program supporters can donate all year long and help bring valuable programs and experiences to the Clubs. By serving as a Club “angel,” supporters reflect the Club’s theme of strong and valuable mentoring and help create 21st Century leaders.
