The Brumby Chair Company of Marietta Appoints Fourth Generation Brumby Officers
Marietta, Georgia (PRWEB) April 02, 2014 -- The Brumby Chair Company of Marietta announced today that the company has named Anna P. Brumby as CEO and President and Spain Brumby Gregory as Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the historic company founded in 1875. Succeeding former President and CEO Otis A. Brumby, Jr., his oldest and youngest daughters are fourth generation Brumby family members and first female executives to manage the company.
Prior to joining The Brumby Chair Company, Brumby spent a decade doing business development, product development, sales and marketing domestically and internationally for Columbus, Georgia, based Total Systems Services, Inc.. During her time at Total Systems, she was also a frequent contributor to industry articles, financial services white papers and spoke at international conferences on behalf of the company. Brumby received her undergraduate degree from Presbyterian College and her MBA from University of Georgia, Terry School of Business.
Prior to becoming COO, Spain Brumby Gregory served as General Manager to The Brumby Chair Company managing day-to-day operations of the business, including all vendors and employees at the shop on the Historic Marietta Square. Gregory was also instrumental in participating in marketing campaigns and sales strategies for over a decade; in addition to, serving as company spokesman. Gregory received her undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University with a focus in Broadcast Journalism.
