The Cabin Addiction Services Group Co-hosts UK Workshop on Addiction Treatment
(PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- Multinational addiction treatment provider, The Cabin Addiction Services Group, and US-based Caron Treatment Centers will co-host a two-day workshop on mental health and addiction in London this 3rd – 4th November, 2015, for treatment professionals.
The event, which is their 4th annual UK workshop, will be held at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington. Participants can earn six Continuing Professional Development hours each day, while benefiting from tuition through interactive presentations by a list of prominent addiction treatment practitioners from the UK, Us and Asia.
Speakers include Alastair Mordey, Program Director of The Cabin Chiang Mai and Dr Brian Wells, Clinical Director of The Cabin Addiction Services Group. The Cabin Chiang Mai, situated in northern Thailand, is considered to be Asia’s best inpatient rehab and is The Cabin Addiction Services Group’s flagship treatment facility. The Group also operates outpatient addiction treatment centers in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney.
All centers make use of an innovative but evidence-based treatment model developed by Alastair Mordey called Recovery Zones, which is a refined combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, 12 Step principles and Mindfulness Therapy. This combination approach has been proven to treat addiction more effectively than using just a single treatment method.

Topic: How relevant/useful is the term “Dependence” in the 21st century?
Time: Nov 4th, 3.00-4.00pm
