New York, NY (PRWEB) February 18, 2014 -- The Channel of Blessing announces their new website to better connect with donors around the world. Donors can now visit their website at http://thechannelofblessing.com/ and view their Mission, Vision, Values and Beliefs. Donors can also make pledges on the site.
The Channel of Blessing began with the vision of a few Disciples of Christ in the U.S. who desired to share their blessings with those less privileged in local cities, national and international locations. International mission trips to Africa and India resulted in a vision to address the issues of injustice, poverty, and lack of discipleship. The founders, Praveen Bunyan and Grace Bunyan, began by responding to local needs and requests. Due to the lack of medical care resources in the Third World, they have started a small clinic in Nandikotkur, India. They are also opening an orphanage in Muddanur in AP India.
Founders of the Channel of Blessing partnered with other organizations like the Least of These Ministries in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Uganda in Africa. Pastors and ministry leaders were trained and equipped to move people from merely attending church to becoming intentional disciples of Christ. This is done through renewal conferences, teaching scripture and depending on the Holy Spirit. A spiritual renewal conference in Nandyal and Proddutur in AP India equipped 300 youth from rural villages to townships towards deepening their walk with Christ. 50 evangelists were anointed and blessed to go out to spread the love of God in Jesus. About 70 Pastors were lead through a clergy retreat on seeking God’s will and spreading God’s Kingdom. The efforts of initiating the building of a hospital in Nandikotkur and rebuilding an orphanage shut down for the last 25 years due the lack of resources is well received by the people. Church planting and Church constructions are increasing daily.
In His Grip Fellowship, a group of believers from India currently living in the United States have partnered with the Channel of Blessing ministries to support the work of several evangelists and pastors. Their tremendous heart to be channels of blessings inspires and encourages in other endeavors to serve. What began as the desire of a few people to share the blessings and love of God is now growing like wild fire.
Channel of Blessing ministries are focused on building and serving communities of faith to respond to growing needs of society. Through their New Beginnings - they support evangelists and pastors in church planting. They serve ministry leaders and Christians by offering resources for discipleship through Spiritual Formation. Channel of Blessing believes that deeper discipleship leads to compassion and service. Their Restoration Ministries serve the poor and marginalized of society meeting immediate basic needs and upholding the dignity and love given by God through Christ for all humans.
