The Club at Kukui’ula Introduces The Lodge at Kukui’ula
Kaua'i, Hawaii (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- For the first time, Kukui’ula, Kaua`i’s leading resort community, invites guests to experience The Lodge at Kukui’ula, a collection of furnished cottages, contemporary bungalows and luxury villas available for overnight stays. The newest luxury hospitality offering on the island’s South Shore, The Lodge offers guests the personal service and privacy of a club with access to an array of exclusive amenities found only at The Club at Kukui’ula. Now in its first phase, the new hospitality program at Kukui’ula currently features a selection of Club Cottages, Club Villas and a Club Bungalow, with additional villas and bungalows set to be built and fully furnished in 2016.
The elegant, yet comfortable accommodations at The Lodge at Kukui’ula offer the luxury and tranquility of Kaua`i’s world-renowned indoor/outdoor island living. The two- and three-bedroom Club Cottages span over 2,600 square feet of living space, nestled alongside the tree-lined drive leading to The Plantation House, Kukui’ula’s community gathering place. Ideal for families or multiple couples traveling together, the cottages offer an experience unlike any hotel stay, where guests can take advantage of spacious gathering areas, including a covered private lanai, gourmet kitchen and outdoor fire pit. Current posted rates of cottage units start from $1,200 per night and sleep up to six.
The newest addition to The Lodge collection is the four-bedroom Club Villa with a contemporary design that includes an outdoor covered lanai and generous plunge pool overlooking the ocean for incredible sunset views. Sleeping up to eight guests, the villa also features a one-bedroom, one-bath furnished guesthouse that opens up to a private lanai. Current posted rates start from $1,800 per night. A third offering of one- to three-bedroom, single- or two-story Club Bungalows will also be available late 2015. Designed in plantation-style architecture with contemporary island interiors, the private bungalows boast high vaulted ceilings, dark hand scraped wood flooring and teak cabinetry.
“We are thrilled to launch the hospitality offering at Kukui’ula for families looking to enjoy Kaua`i’s beautiful South Shore. The incredible range of personalized services and amenities offered by The Club at Kukui’ula makes this a unique experience, previously only enjoyed by members of the community,” says The Club at Kukui’ula President Richard Albrecht. “Our hope is that our guests enjoy the friendliness of the staff and their Kaua`i style of caring, while immersing themselves in the local culture and the island’s roots that Kukui’ula is known for. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our laid-back, down-to-earth community.”
Guests of The Lodge have full access to the 1,000-acre resort community’s private luxury amenities, including the Plantation House, the community hub offering dining options, bar service, a game room, a collection of sandy bottom Makai pools and beautiful ocean and sunset views. Guests can take advantage of the 18,000-square-foot Spa at Kukui’ula, featuring private treatment rooms, a lap pool, fitness center and Kukui’ula’s signature “Seven Step Wet Ritual.” Guests can also harvest their own seasonal fruits and vegetables at the communal Upcountry Farm and Lake; play a round of golf on the private 18-hole award-winning course designed by Tom Weiskopf; and enjoy Kukui'ula's Island Pursuits program, offering unique access to Kauai through local guides with a variety of activities, such as hiking the Kalalau Trail; sailing a traditional Hawaiian canoe; stand-up paddle boarding; and more.
Kukui’ula is a short stroll from The Shops at Kukui'ula, the village-like shopping, dining and entertainment center with 35 unique shops and eateries, including Roy Yamaguchi’s recently opened Eating House – 1849, Merriman’s Fish House, and Josselin’s Tapas Bar & Grill. Home to the weekly Kauai Culinary Market and monthly Art Walk, The Shops at Kukui’ula welcome visitors to enjoy live island music, indulge in fresh, locally grown produce and mingle with locals in traditional “pau hana” (after work) style.
