By showcasing surprising results from recent large-scale surveys of our universe, The Principle exposes scientific evidence of the significance of the Earth in the cosmos. It appears that simply asking questions about the Copernican Principle is enough to cause many leading scientists to get uncomfortable. In the 15th and 16th century, Copernicus suggested that Earth is not in any privileged or central position in the universe. This concept changed science and physics for centuries, but new discoveries are suggesting that perhaps ancient thoughts were actually correct.

To support today’s release of The Principle, the film’s creators have created two free additional products to help viewers understand the significance of the pressure to keep the film from releasing to the general public.
Today, the “5 Things You Need to Know Before Viewing The Principle” video launches, a 1-minute feature highlighting the key questions asked in the film. These questions are:
