The purpose of The DI Wire is to provide the Direct Investment Industry with a dedicated news publication that will allow all levels of professionals to become more informed, better educated, and well suited to drive the industry’s continued growth.
Direct Investments have enjoyed a blockbuster year in terms of capital raising and liquidity events, specifically non-traded REITs and Business Development Companies (BDCs). In addition, alternative investments as a category have been a major focus for broker dealers and financial advisors. As industries grow, so does the need for a dedicated trade publication.
The DI Wire was formed to provide Direct Investment professionals with daily news, educational content, best practices, job opportunities, industry events, and directories of sponsors, broker dealers, and affiliate firms.

LeGacy Jr. Mr. LeGacy most recently worked for a sponsor of oil and gas limited partnerships and was part of a wholesaling team responsible for raising capital through independent broker dealers. Prior to this role, he managed a sales desk for MFS Retirement Services, Inc.
“While working for MFS, I relied daily on a trade publication dedicated to the 401k Industry. On my first day of joining a firm in the Direct Investment Industry, I immediately searched out a similar website, but was disappointed to find it did not exist. After years of wishing there was a resource I could count on daily, I decided to spearhead the effort myself. Many years of planning later, I am excited to provide the Direct Investment Industry its first and only online dedicated news publication,” commented LeGacy.
