The "Executive Coaching" Field Shifts the Paradigm by Establishing a "Professional University": UCECE Invites Proposals for Innovative Programs
New Jersey (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- On the eve of launching its inaugural course entitled, “Coaching Bullies at the Top of the Organization”, The University of Continuing Executive Coaching Education© (UCECE), announced that it is accepting proposals from leading corporate executive coaches for innovative executive education programs to become part of the University’s growing curriculum.
Established by visionary and innovative corporate executive coach, CB Bowman, the UCECE is a vehicle for senior executive coaches to learn from the industry’s best-in-class. The UCECE offers a unique proposition for continuing coaching education: The Association of Corporate Executive Coaches, a Bowman-led global organization driving results-orientated standards for the master-level executive coaching industry, has brought together the collective knowledge of its members to form the faculty for this avant-garde, unprecedented “professional university”©.
“ACEC members are demonstrated leaders with an impressive array of experiences and skills,” Bowman noted. “As standard bearers for top-tier corporate executive coaching, it is time that we elevate the field of executive coaching through lifelong learning, to the level of influence to play a pivotal role in preventing corporate behavior which results in destroying the trust of the public.”

The announcement comes as the UCECE sets to commence its first course, “Effectively Coaching Executive Bullies at the Top of the Organization,” on October 1, 2013. Designed by Jordan Goldrich, ACEC Master Corporate Executive Coach, MCEC and COO at CUSTOMatrix, Inc., the program focuses on the topic of how to coach coaches to work with C-suite bullies and addresses the unrealized legal ramifications for the executive coach. Moreover, the program has been approved for global accreditation by the International Coach Federation, earning participants 14 continuing coaching education (CCE) credits. It has also been approved for 14 continuing education credits for those holding a Master Corporate Executive Coaching (MCEC) certification.
UCECE courses currently in development will focus on the latest issues affecting the executive coaching industry, topics surrounding client concerns, and challenges concerning the legal hurdles of coaching. For instance, a soon-to-be-announced interactive webinar will focus on the challenge of and best practices for coaching family-owned business owners and executives.
Bowman added, “Based on the recent Stanford Graduate School study, CEOs want coaching and leadership advice from outside executive coaches; however, less than one-third receive it. We have a huge gap to fill and we need high-level coaches with the know-how to get the job done.”
