The Fosters's Bianca Santos Talks About Landing Her First Big Role and Why She Was Excited to Work with Jake T Austin in An interview on AfterBuzz TV

On her feelings landing her first big role on Television:
Santos says, "Everything has exploded for me! I just remember getting the part on The Fosters and then freaking out! Then it was kinda like normal because we just started shooting. But then the show aired and I was like, 'whoa my Instagram and my Twitter are blowing up.' All the feedback has been so positive. The fans and everyone have been like 'you're a great actress and we love you on the show'. They don't understand how, ugh I might cry. They don't understand how great that is!"
On Mariana revealing Lexi and Jesus's Sexual Relationship:
Santos says, "I remember reading the script for that episode and reading the ending and just thinking… 'Her life is over!' Ugh this pain. I mean, can you imagine [Lexi] being 15 and having these crazy religious parents who just wouldn't really understand and having them find out in that way!?"
On the chemistry between Lexi and Jesus:
Santos says, "I got chosen for my part and the first time I met Jake [T. Austin] was at the table reading… I knew, that was the guy when I was auditioning. I was like 'Okay, so you're my love interest.' That's the guy from Wizards Of Waverly Place! We weren't cast together. We didn't test out our chemistry [beforehand], but on-set it was just like BAM!"
On kissing Jake T. Austin:
Santos says, "Oh my goodness! I get asked that a lot. It's one thing if you're kissing your crush… It's totally different when you're working with someone and it's professional. Jake is such a sweetheart. We work so well together, but I don't kiss and tell!"
