The Good Stuff Consignment Shop Passes the Baton and Turns Over the Tiara
Jupiter, FL (PRWEB) July 31, 2013 -- Rhonda, Jacque, and Kim started their unique consignment concept back in 2009 and it quickly became a staple in the Jupiter/Tequesta community. These days they are ready for new challenges and plan to hitch up their trailer and take their show on the road. The “girls” will hit the open highway in search of more “good stuff” and hidden treasures come September.
When Rhonda and Jacque made the bitter-sweet decision to sell, they were hoping to find someone to carry on their traditions and continue to provide customers with the same unique experience. According to Karen Williamson, from the moment she heard the shop was for sale, she knew she would be the one wearing the tiara.
“The moment was serendipitous!” said Karen. “I was driving by the store with a close friend who commented on the infamous mermaid out front and said she had never been there before.” Excited to share the Good Stuff experience, Karen made a quick change of plans, an illegal U-turn, and headed back to the store. “We were greeted in the usual fashion with a signature serenade from Rhonda and Jacque; they exude such great karma, it’s always a pleasure to be in their presence!” added Karen. It was during that unscheduled visit Karen was told the Good Stuff was for sale. “When Rhonda told me they were selling, I literally got chills and the rest is history, or in this case, herstory!” said Karen.
As the new owner of the Good Stuff, Karen, a.k.a. “The Chicorator” plans to keep the character in-tact. “It will always be the home of Tiara Tuesdays,” said Karen (the shops most popular day, offering a 10% discount for wearing a tiara). Williamson promises that clients can still expect to see the occasional conga line, baton twirling, ball gowns, sing-a-longs, and much more. “I love the concept Rhonda and Jacque started and I am proud to carry on their legacy. It’s a dream come true,” concluded Karen.
“We are thrilled to pass the baton and the tiara to Karen,” said Rhonda Gagliardi. “She has been a loyal client for years and we know she shares our passion and creativity.”
The shops extended hours starting August 6th, will be Tuesday through Friday 10:00 – 5:00 and every Saturday, 10:00 – 4:00.
The Good Stuff Consignment Shop is a unique shopping experience offering small to mid-sized consigned, vintage, and re-purposed furnishings and accessories. They also provide design services, consultations, and home staging.
