The Goonies Playing Cards Now on Kickstarter

Austin, TX (PRWEB) May 16, 2014 -- Albino Dragon, the Austin, Texas-based tabletop game publisher, is proud to announce their newest project, an officially licensed, customized Bicycle playing card deck based on the much-beloved movie, The Goonies. The project was launched on Kickstarter and in one day received almost double its goal. Fans have already pledged over $27,000 and are very excited to receive the playing cards, which are illustrated and designed by Nat Iwata, and officially licensed by Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

The decks will feature one-of-a-kind court cards, custom jokers, and custom pip cards. The cards all feature rich artwork based on The Goonies. Maintaining their commitment to quality and excellence, the deck will be printed by the USPCC, the same company that produces the Bicycle brand.

“The Goonies is one of my favorite movies. In fact, I’ve never heard anyone say that they didn’t love it,” said Erik Dahlman, CEO of Albino Dragon. “We at Albino Dragon are excited to be bringing fans of The Goonies a product that they are not only going to love, but helped make a reality.”

The deck is currently offered as a preorder on Kickstarter, a platform that Albino Dragon is very familiar with, having raised over $1 million dollars on the site in the past year.
