The Griffith Foundation Names Karen Fulton Winner of the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award

MALVERN, Pa. (PRWEB) October 17, 2017 -- Karen Fulton has received The Institutes Griffith Insurance Education Foundation’s 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award during a ceremony at the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) 2017 Annual Meeting, held October 16 in Chicago, Illinois.

Candidates for the 2017 Griffith Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award were selected by The Griffith Foundation Leadership Council, which includes insurance leaders, executives and academics. This year’s winner was recognized for exemplary commitments to education and for her support of the missions of The Griffith Foundation and PCI.

Fulton retired in February 2017 as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of ARI Insurance Company, an AmTrust company. She previously served as president and CEO of ARI Mutual Insurance Company, where she was responsible for all facets of the insurance operation and coordinated the strategic analysis that led to acquisition by AmTrust. Before joining ARI, Fulton served as vice president and controller of American Reliance Insurance Company and as senior manager of audit services for KPMG Peat Markwick. She is currently a member of the board of Chandler Health Services and chairs its Asset Committee.
