The Importance of Sun Protection is Featured on "Voices In America" for Public Television With Host James Earl Jones
(PRWEB) December 15, 2015 -- Voices In America, along with host, James Earl Jones, is releasing their newest episode, which will focus on the importance of sun protection. Healthcare professionals will be on hand to discuss the various reasons sun protection is important for everyone, and ways to effectively protect yourself from sun exposure.
Sun exposure can lead to skin cancer, so minimizing exposure can literally be life-saving. Damage from sun exposure comes in two ways, through one time burns and through cumulative exposure. It is important to realize that cumulative exposure, with no burns, can still cause significant damage to the skin. Exposure during childhood and into the young adult years is particularly damaging.
"Voices In America" is produced independently and distributed to Public Television Stations for airing. It is not produced or associated with either PBS or APT.
