Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 20, 2015 -- The Institute for Advanced Medical Research is pleased to announce that, with their regional partner Global Medical Education (GME), they will sponsor the “GME Psychiatry Update” on February 21, 2015. The event will take place in Atlanta, GA, at the W Atlanta Midtown and is free to participants.
Global Medical Education (GME), a free online medical education resource, is hosting this 15-city series to help bring information about current developments in psychiatry and neuropsychiatry to local providers. Physician presenters will review best practices along with the latest advances in diagnostic and therapeutic issues in patients with bipolar disorder, major depression, sleep disturbances, ADHD, binge eating disorder and schizophrenia. Prakash Masand, M.D., founder of Global Medical Education and Chief Scientific Officer at the Institute for Advanced Medical Research, will lead the world-renowned faculty team presenting at the Atlanta meeting.
“This event reinforces our commitment to bringing educational opportunities to medical professionals, as well as the community at large, this year,” offered Angelo Sambunaris, M.D., founder and Chief Medical Officer at the Institute for Advanced Medical Research. “Additionally, it is a tremendous opportunity for health professionals in the southeast who treat psychiatric illnesses to obtain cutting edge information on the state of medical research from world-class providers and researchers.”
