The International Tour Management Institute #ITMI Selects Ontario, California as the Destination for its 2016 Symposium #ITMISymposiumOntario
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) March 26, 2015 -- The International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) will conduct its 29th annual symposium January 24th to 28th, 2016, at the Doubletree by Hilton in Ontario, California. This also marks the 40th anniversary for ITMI, the premier institute for professional tour directors, guides and custom training for the travel and hospitality industry.
The symposium is a unique tourism industry event that includes master classes, panel discussions and powerful keynote addresses by visionaries and thought leaders. Tour operators and cruise line representatives conduct job interviews and make hiring decisions for the coming tourist season.
"Most people think of Los Angeles, when they consider visiting Southern California," states Ted Bravos, CEO of ITMI. "Ontario is only 30 to 45 minutes from Universal Studios, Disneyland, Santa Monica, Hollywood and many other popular tourist attractions. We are delighted to be showcasing this spectacular area to the tourism professionals who attend our event."
"We are looking forward to the 2016 Symposium, not only to learn more about ITMI, but to provide the group with familiarization tours that will show off all of the unique destinations and assets in our region," said Michael Krouse, President and CEO of Greater Ontario Convention & Visitors Bureau.

For the past 29 years, the ITMI Symposium has attracted leading tour operators such as Globus Family of Brands, Tauck World Discovery, Adventures by Disney, Trafalgar Tours, Collette Vacations, World Strides, Smithsonian Student Travel, Princess and Holland America Cruise lines to name but a few.
