The iPhone 5s gets a Guardian with Halo Security Accessory
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 12, 2013 -- After successfully crowdfunding design of the world’s most advanced iPhone security device, Halo today announced an Indiegogo campaign to bring the smartphone accessory to market. With individual iPhone theft levels at an all-time high, Halo aims to raise an additional $70,000 with the goal of protecting individuals and their devices.
As smartphone theft grows, Halo’s campaign gives consumers the opportunity to add unprecedented security features to their device, while enhancing some of the iPhone 5s’ features.
Halo introduces the world’s first proximity-based smartphone alarm, capable of reaching up to 120 decibels. The Halo Ring triggers the alarm at a preset, customizable distance. An emergency button is also featured. If triggered, the emergency button will sound the alarm, capture video and notify designated emergency contacts with pre-set messages and GPS location. Combined with Halo’s intuitive app, the Halo Ring, alarm and emergency buttons are each fully customizable with proximity, gesture and message controls.
Halo also enhances the iPhone 5s with a separate, 20mm external speaker, an estimated 40 percent battery extension and a silent LED notification system for incoming messages.
