The Janitorial Store Celebrates 10 Years of Helping Cleaning Business Owners Succeed
Rogers, MN (PRWEB) June 02, 2015 -- In October 2005, Steve and Jean Hanson launched The Janitorial Store™, a subscription based online business portal for cleaning business owners. This year marks the site’s 10th year helping cleaning business owners grow their business.
The Hanson’s decision to launch the site came from Steve’s passion for the cleaning industry and Jean’s passion for growing online businesses.
“Jean and I have owned and eventually sold two cleaning companies over a period of 22 years. Since launching The Janitorial Store™, we have logged a total of 28 years in the cleaning industry,” said Steve Hanson, Co-founder. “Jean branched off to start a virtual assistant company in 2001, and found she loved running an online business, and in particular, helping business owners with their online marketing,” said Hanson.
In 2004, the Hanson’s researched online education available for cleaning companies and found that the information available was either poor or non-existent. “Even the industry associations had minimal educational content online. So that’s when we decided that with Steve’s experience in the industry and my experience with online marketing, we could combine our knowledge and resources to create a subscription-based educational resource. And we are thrilled that 10 years later we’re still helping members move their businesses forward,” said Jean Hanson. In addition to subscriptions, The Janitorial Store™ offers a host of educational training products for all phases of the cleaning business.
