The Kelahan Agency Initiates Southern New Hampshire Charity Event to Benefit the Family of Young Local Girl Fighting MLD
Hooksett, NH (PRWEB) December 22, 2016 -- The Kelahan Agency, a family operated firm providing asset protection services and financial consultations to residential and commercial clients throughout southern New Hampshire, is inaugurating a charity event to benefit Alia Grace, a three year old local girl diagnosed with a rare and fatal disease.
Commonly referred to as MLD, Alia Grace is suffering from Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, an extremely rare and deadly disease that affects the central nervous system. So far, all cases of MLD have been fatal, and there is no cure. The Kelahan Agency is gathering support for the family in this difficult time to make Alia as comfortable as possible during her struggle with the disease.
“When tragedy strikes, it’s extremely important that families in our community can come together and support each other through difficult times, and we hope everyone will join us in supporting Alia and her family,” says Phil Kelahan, founder and president of the Kelahan Agency.
To promote the charity event in honor of Alia Grace, the Kelahan team is working to gather assistance from communities in and around Merrimack County by reaching out to nearby families over social media and email. Alia Grace and her family are only the first of many charitable causes that the Kelahan Agency plans to work with in the near future. Recently, the Kelahan Agency became an affiliate of a national charity support network called “Agents of Change,” and the team plans to provide assistance to new regional nonprofits on a bimonthly basis.
