The Laura Stephens Agency and Meals By Grace Initiate Charity Drive to Provide Food for Hungry Families in Forsyth County
Cumming, GA (PRWEB) September 07, 2015 -- The Laura Stevens Agency, a locally owned full service insurance firm with offices serving Cumming Georgia and the surrounding areas, is announcing a joint effort with Meals By Grace, a local charity that provides nutritious food to underprivileged children and families.
Meals by Grace is a non-profit ministry dedicated to assisting children and families who are without the means to feed themselves. Recent statistics report that Georgia has the nation’s fifth highest food insecurity rate, and Meals By Grace works with local schools to identify and provide for undernourished children as well as their families.
Meals By Grace programs include a school lunch complement that improves nutrition, a food pantry that provides free and low cost meals to hungry community members, and a hot food delivery service for individuals and families that lack access to transportation.
