The Marie Gary Agency and Gallatin Valley Land Trust Embark on Charity Drive to Preserve Local Farmlands in Montana
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) April 08, 2016 -- The Marie Cary Agency, a locally owned insurance firm that provides coverage to hundreds of businesses and families in southern Montana, is teaming up with the Gallatin Valley Land Trust in a charity drive that promises to protect farm and river lands throughout the region.
The mission of the Gallatin Valley Land Trust is the “conservation of working farms and ranches, healthy rivers, and wildlife habitat, and the creation of trails in the Montana headwaters of the Missouri and Upper Yellowstone Rivers.” To help fund these efforts, the Marie Gary Agency is mobilizing a charity and awareness drive to gather support from local communities.
“Montana is without a doubt the most beautiful State in the Union, and this charity drive will help make sure it stays that way for generations to come,” explains Marie Gary, founder and director of the Marie Gary Agency.
Working with local community and business leaders, Gary and her team are reaching out to other nearby regions in an effort to gather support and raise awareness of the importance of farmland conservation. As well, the Gallatin Valley Land Trust charity effort will be featured in an upcoming issue of “Our Hometown,” a monthly Internet publication produced by Gary and her firm.
In addition to the current charity effort benefitting Gallatin Valley Land Trust, the Marie Gary Agency has made an ongoing commitment to work with at least one new Montana-based charity, cause, or non-profit every other month for the coming year.
