The McDonald Agency Continues Cooperative Charity Event with the HOME Organization to Provide for Teen Mothers in Florida
Ocala, FL (PRWEB) August 25, 2016 -- The McDonald Agency, a Marion County-based insurance and financial planning firm with offices serving Ocala, The Villages, and other communities in central Florida, is extending a charity drive begin earlier this year in conjunction with the HOME Organization to fund critical services for teen mothers.
The Hands Of Mercy Everywhere Organization, or HOME, is a faith-based nonprofit group that provides support and shelter to pregnant or parenting mothers with children under 3 years old. HOME operates in partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Community Based Care (CBC) Agencies in Florida, offering a multidisciplinary facility that encourages the physical, mental, and spiritual development of new mothers.
“Back to school season is underway, and we are extending this charity drive in an attempt to assist and empower all the teen mothers in our area who want to complete their education while raising their child,” says Kevin McDonald, owner and manager of the McDonald Agency.
Alongside his professional team, McDonald is working to gather support for the HOME charity event from community leaders, associates, and like-minded families throughout the state of Florida by reaching out over social media and email.
