The Mid-South Horse Show Association Hosts 28th Annual Charity Event to Benefit Youth Town
Jackson, Tenn. (PRWEB) July 01, 2015 -- The 28th annual Charity Horse Show hosted by the Mid-South Horse Show Association will be held rain or shine Saturday, July 11, 2015, at 6 p.m. in Pugh Bourne Park, 343 Oakfield Road. The event will again benefit Youth Town.
Admission is free and includes pony rides, a petting zoo, an Elvis impersonator, a silent auction and concessions.
Horses and riders from around the country will participate in the fundraiser which last year raised more than $15,000 for Youth Town.
The silent auction benefiting the Eden Project, a rehabilitation program for young women, will include trips to Perryville Marina and Cuba Landing.
Event chairperson Cynthia Wright expects approximately 1,500 people attend the annual show. “It’s such a wonderful way to support the work that Youth Town does and be a part of a great community-building organization,” she said.
Youth Town is an accredited residential treatment center for substance dependence. A nonprofit, Youth Town’s goal is to provide irreversible life change for young men through Christ-centered and adventure-based experiences.
