The Montagu Arms Launches Its 2015 Events Calendar
(PRWEB UK) 28 February 2015 -- From Michelin star lunches and cheese tasting to flower arranging classes with a Chelsea gold medallist, The Montagu Arms long anticipated 2015 events calendar has arrived.
The hotel is extremely popular for its dining events and exciting workshops and this year brings no disappointment, with a huge selection of events to choose from.
Both hotel guests and members of the public are welcomed onto the Montagu Arms’ events – which take place at the award winning hotel itself.
Following last year’s success, the Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday Michelin star lunches have returned. Head Chef Matt Tomkinson and his team have put together delicious dishes paying homage to the season.
Using home-grown vegetables from The Montagu Arms own kitchen garden and other local suppliers, the Michelin star cuisine will be the perfect way to enjoy either Mother’s Day or Easter.
As well as superb dining, The Montagu Arms plays host to an array of interesting workshops, starting with an Anti-Aging talk with beauty expert Lina Lotto.
As Spa Director of the award-winning SenSpa, at The Montagu Arms’ sister hotel Careys Manor in Brockenhurst, Lina is a health and beauty expert with years of experience in the spa industry.
She knows all the secrets to looking after your skin and maintaining a youthful complexion. The workshop takes place on 12th March at 12pm followed by a Michelin Star, three course lunch at The Terrace.
Another date for the diary is a cheese and wine tasting on 9th April, hosted by The Montagu Arms’ very own Head Sommelier, David Kubler.
In celebration of National Wine Week guests will learn how to create the perfect cheeseboard with paired wine, offering six specially selected wines to sample along with a carefully chosen accompaniment of tasty British and French cheeses.
Back by popular demand is the Flower Arranging Master class on 28th April. Since 2003, Mala Williams has been designing exquisite floral designs specialising in corporate work, weddings, functions, events, workshops and demonstrations.
Whenever possible she likes to create works of art using nature as her inspiration. She is a member of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Society (NAFAS), winner of a gold medal at Chelsea Flower Show and qualified National Teachers.
Mala will teach the guests how to create their own spring flower arrangement during this hands-on demonstration. The day includes a finger buffet lunch with coffee, all materials and a self-created arrangement to take home.
Special Events Coordinator, Clara Earp, is very pleased with this year’s events calendar,
“Our events celebrate everything that’s wonderful about The Montagu Arms, from our award winning food to our beautiful flower arrangements throughout the hotel. Guests return year after year, workshop after workshop which is great to see. We like to be creative and this year is no different.”
Situated in the heart of the historic village of Beaulieu, nestled in the unique, beautiful landscape of the New Forest National Park, the Montagu Arms is widely regarded as one of the top places to stay and dine in the south.
